"Marnie !" Kathy shouted among the massive throng of people. She looked around her wildly, attempting to see her sister. Nothing. "Oh, d**n," she muttered, kicking a rock into the water,"Goodness knows where she's gone now," They had a fight this morning and Marnie stormed away in a huff. Which wasn't surprising; Marnie would disappear for days on end if they had an argument. Kathy was now late for work. Today is not my day. she ran across to the other side of the port, in a last minute search.Hopefully,Governor Swann won't notice I am nearly two hours late.

Elizabeth hurried between the stacks of lobster pot's tripping slightly on the hem of her dress. "d**n it" she cursed as she nearly fell head first into a suspicous looking character. Elizabeth watched him carefully as she hurried on past. She didn't know who to trust.
Elizabeth turned the corner and suddenly ran into a young girl who was strangly familiar.
"Katherine?" she asked bemused straightening herself up with as much grace as she could muster. "why aren't you at work?" she asked a little more sternly. Elizabth was running late herself and she did not want it pointed out so quickly.

Katherine ?
Kathy looked up - surprised. She did not know anyone who worked at the docks. It was Elizabeth. She cursed silently.
Why aren't you at work ?
"Emm...well you see m'lady,"Kathy mumbled, embarrassed at being caught,"I seem to have lost my sister Marnie......you know Marnie don't you ?" Oh, she sounded so stupid! She quietly kicked herself. Elizabeth will think I'm a right idiot now.

"Emm...well you see m'lady,"Kathy mumbled, embarrassed at being caught,"I seem to have lost my sister Marnie......you know Marnie don't you ?" Elizabeht gave her a confused but stern look "Yes i know of her but this does not explain how you could lose someone" she stated smirking slightly at what was honestly the most silliest phrase she'd ever heard. Elizabeth sighed slightly she was fustrated and knew she was being to hard on the young girl. "Very well would you like me to acompany you to work" she asked distantly, she knew she was over half an hour late but her house was only a short way up the road and in the direction she was heading.

"Yes i know of her but this does not explain how you could lose someone"
"I did not lose exactly,"Kathy blurted out, amazed at her courage to speak out to the Governor's daughter," We had a fight and she ran off. She probably won't appear for days - this isn't the first time. And she never says where she goes,"
"Very well would you like me to acompany you to work"
Kathy was stunned at the invitation. "I - I would be honoured m'lady," she stuttered.

"I - I would be honoured m'lady," she stuttered.
Elizabeth smiled, she didn't know why she had offered but it seemed a pretty decent thing to do at the time. Elizabeth beamed and noticed the suspicious character once again lingering beside the stacks of lobsters. "Well what are we waiting for" she said hurried desperate to get away from this person. She had not looked at him properly but with a quick glance she could sense he was a pirate of some sort "No time to waste" she forced herself splashing a fake smile upon her elegant face. "So your sister where might she be?" She asked as the hurried through the busy port.

So your sister where might she be?"
Kathy shrugged, wondering why they were walking so fast. Was Elizabeth up to something ? Goodness knows," she sighed,"She never tells anyone where she goes. Can stay away for days sometimes. I assumed near the water, it was her favourite place as a child," She is still a child, Kathy thought but it was best if she did not say that aloud.
